CSRD Bootcamp - denxpert solutions

CSRD Bootcamp

CSRD-based sustainability reporting training

Implement the CSRD-based reporting structure in your company in the most cost-effective way with denxpert software!

First session: 2024. oct. 1.

Would you like to participate?

In a community, with the help of mentors and experts, prepare for the CSRD-based sustainability reporting process

In recent years, the pressure on companies to take sustainability into account has increased. Not only are companies being encouraged to operate more sustainably through new regulations: the adoption of the European Union’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), the ESRS standards, has also significantly increased companies’ reporting obligations. This often poses a dilemma for companies, which have to move from finite resources to more sustainable operations, while reporting in detail on every step they take to the various bodies.

The CSRD Bootcamp organised by denxpert and PARTNER offers a solution to this dilemma. Participants will be equipped with the knowledge, tools and reporting software to meet the CSRD reporting requirements in a cost-effective way, even on their own.

CSRD Bootcamp - More than just a training!

The CSRD Bootcamp organised by denxpert offers a solution to this dilemma. Participants will be equipped with the knowledge, tools and reporting software to meet the CSRD reporting requirements in a cost-effective way, even on their own.

The Bootcamp is facilitated by internationally recognised experts and experienced mentors, at the end of which companies will be ready to collect CSRD data tailored to their own operations and material sustainability issues.

CSRD Bootcamp topics

In the first session, we will start with an introduction to the most pressing topic for companies today: CSRD and ESG regulations. Róbert Szücs-Winkler, as a recognised expert in the field of ESG and EHS, will provide an insight into the importance of these regulations at company level. SOME will provide a comprehensive perspective on the domestic and international legal environment, helping companies to understand the EU’s sustainable growth financing and regulations – such as CSRD, Taxonomy, CSDDD – and what their current obligations are, what is to come domestically and what this is all about. Invited speakers will help to understand this context. In addition to outlining the legal framework, we will discuss ESG-compatibility, the meaning of applying the ESG approach, and how a company’s sustainability thinking and operations fit into CSRD reporting. Anna Csonka will present the opportunities and challenges of implementing sustainability reporting through an international company, as well as the benefits and usefulness of CSRD from an investor perspective.

In this module, we will go through the theory and practice of double materiality assessment in detail. Based on the ESRS standards and EFRAG implementation guides, participants will learn how to develop an audit-proof double materiality methodology tailored to their company. We will cover the understanding of the ESRS value chain, stakeholder mapping and the selection and engagement of credible proxies, and discuss in detail the methods for identifying and evaluating impacts, risks and opportunities (IROs). In addition to a thorough review of the theory, international good practices already available will be analysed.

In this session, participants will share how they have progressed with their double materiality analysis since the second module. Challenges and experiences will be discussed. We will then go through the methodology for developing materiality thresholds, in theory and using various benchmark tools. We also analyse the visualisation of double materiality events. In the second part of the module, we will delve deeper into the structure, logic and challenges of ESRS disclosure requirements. We will discuss the establishment of information materiality and the minimum disclosure requirements for policies, measures and targets. Over the next two weeks, participants will continue the double materiality analysis, with the help of mentors, and select the first set of ESRS data points.

The fourth module focuses on ESRS data points. Our experts will introduce the most important data points and provide guidance on how to start and refine the collection process. SOME will talk about environmental data points and SOME will talk about social and corporate governance issues. After the fourth session, the mentors will be available for a further two weeks for participants to finalise the collection process, after which each company can start their own data collection process in the denxpert online system. In between the thematic days, each participant will have a mentor available to assist companies in implementing their implementation steps, answering specific questions and helping to shape their individual development and implementation paths during the workshop.

At the end of the training, each participant will have the opportunity to implement a customised software implementation for audit-proof reporting. A software licence will be provided to all participants.
